Domitille Baizeau a rejoint LALIVE en 2004. Elle a 23 ans d’expérience en contentieux et, depuis 2001, se consacre exclusivement à l’arbitrage international (commercial et d’investissement). Elle est intervenue dans le cadre de plus de 70 litiges internationaux en tant que conseil ou arbitre (dont arbitre président), dans des arbitrages administrés (notamment CCI, LCIA, SCC, Swiss Rules, SIAC, CNUDCI, CIRDI) et des procédures ad hoc, soumises à divers droits de procédure et droits applicables au fond, de « common law » ou de droit civil, dont les droits anglais, suisse, américain, suédois et français et au droit international.

Ses domaines de spécialisation comprennent les joint ventures, les fusions et acquisitions, les pactes d’actionnaires, les ventes, la distribution et les investissements, en particulier dans les secteurs de l’énergie (du pétrole et du gaz, solaire, minier), des télécommunications, du négoce de matières premières, de projets d’infrastructure et des produits pharmaceutiques.

Domitille Baizeau est un membre de la Cour d’arbitrage internationale de la CCI et de la Cour d’arbitrage de la SCAI qui administre les arbitrages soumis aux Swiss Rules of International Arbitration (jusque récemment Vice-présidente la Cour). Elle est également membre du Board de l’Association Suisse de l’Arbitrage – ASA, jusque récemment Officer du European Users’ Council de la LCIA et membre du Conseil d’administration et du Comité exécutif de Terralex, l’un des plus vastes réseaux d’études d’avocats indépendantes dans le monde. Elle est par ailleurs membre de l’IBA (Arbitration Committee) et membre associé de l’Institute of World Business Law de la CCI. Elle figure sur la liste des arbitres du comité national français de la CCI, du comité néo-zélandais d’arbitrage international de la CCI et de l’ICDR. Elle intervient fréquemment dans des conférences et publie régulièrement des articles dans le domaine de l’arbitrage international et est ancien membre des comités de rédaction du Bulletin de l’ASA et du Bulletin de la CCI.

Depuis plusieurs années, Domitille Baizeau est distinguée par Chambers (Global-wide, Europe-wide et Suisse) en arbitrage international, en tant que conseil et arbitre (y compris Most in Demand Arbitrators, Europe, Band 2), et dans International Who’s Who of Commercial Arbitration.
