Baptiste Rigaudeau a rejoint LALIVE en 2018. Il intervient principalement en arbitrage international, aussi bien commercial que d’investissement, notamment dans les secteurs bancaire, pharmaceutique, hôtelier, de l’énergie, de la construction, ou des télécoms. Il a participé en tant que conseil ou secrétaire arbitral à de nombreuses procédures arbitrales ad hoc (notamment CNUDCI / UNCITRAL) et institutionnelles (règlements CCI, HKIAC, SIAC, SCC, CIETAC, CMAP et CIRDI), soumis à divers droits de procédure et droits applicables au fond. Il a aussi conseillé des clients dans le cadre de litiges transnationaux impliquant notamment le recouvrement d’actifs dans de multiples juridictions.
Il préside le comité directeur du groupe des jeunes membres du Chartered Institute of Arbitrators et codirige le groupe d’intérêt sur le réglement des différends de l’African Society of International Law. Il a aussi été membre de la Commission de la Chambre de commerce internationale (ICC) sur l’initiative Belt and Road . Il est membre de plusieurs associations professionnelles, telles que l’ICC YAF, LCIA YIAG et l’Association Internationale du Droit du vin. Il intervient également lors de conférences et a publié un certain nombre d’articles notamment sur l’arbitrage international et les projets complexes sur le continent africain.
Baptiste Rigaudeau a effectué plusieurs stages à Paris et Madrid (2009-2010) avant de devenir le collaborateur de deux arbitres internationaux de premier plan, basés à Hong Kong et à Paris (2011-2012). Il a ensuite exercé l’arbitrage et le contentieux international dans le bureau parisien de Foley Hoag (2014-2018).
Baptiste Rigaudeau est titulaire d’une Licence de droit obtenue à l’Université de Nantes, d’un Master de Droit Economique International de l’Université de Nantes, et d’un Master en Arbitrage et Commerce International de l’Université de Versailles. Il détient aussi un LLM de la faculté de droit de l’Université de Cardiff.
