Me Daniel L. Bühr a rejoint le bureau zurichois de LALIVE en 2011. Ses principaux domaines d’activité sont la réglementation, le droit bancaire, le droit pénal économique et la gestion de conformité, se focalisant particulièrement sur les investigations, les litiges, les rapports ESG, la gouvernance et la gestion de conformité et de risques. Il gère également des projets complexes de conformité transfrontaliers et surveille les projets de correction de conformité d’entreprises.

Daniel L. Bühr est membre fondateur de l’International Academy of Financial Crime Litigators (IAFCL) et membre du conseil européen de l’International Association of Independent Corporate Monitors (IAICM). Daniel L. Bühr est également membre de l’Association Suisse de Normalisation (SNV) et membre des comités d’experts sur la gouvernance des organisations et sur les systèmes de gestion de la conformité de l’Organisation Internationale de Normalisation (ISO). Il est un auditeur accrédité ISO pour les systèmes de gestion de la conformité et cofondateur, président d’honneur, ancien président en exercice de Ethics and Compliance Switzerland (ECS) ainsi que coprésident du groupe de travail CMS/ISO.

Avant de rejoindre LALIVE, Daniel Lucien Bühr était conseiller juridique régional pour une multinationale suisse, responsable de toutes les questions juridiques en Europe, en Russie, au Proche-Orient et en Afrique (2006-2011). Durant cette période, il a été membre du comité d’investissement de Venture Incubator SA (fonds d’investissement privé de grandes entreprises suisses). Auparavant, il a fondé et dirigé une société suisse de capital-risque (2004-2007) et a été Secrétaire Général et conseiller juridique d’un groupe de distribution mondial (1993-2003).

Daniel Lucien Bühr est titulaire d’un doctorat en droit, summa cum laude, de l’Université de Berne à l’Institut de droit international privé et de procédure civile, ainsi que de deux MBAs de l’Université de Columbia à New York et de la London Business School (EMBA Global Program). Il a obtenu son diplôme de l’Université de Berne en 1991 (magna cum laude).
