China Irwin a rejoint LALIVE en 2015. Elle intervient principalement en arbitrage international, tant commercial que d’investissement, en se focalisant sur les conflits complexes concernant les grands projets de construction, les accords de consortium et de joint-venture et les questions touchant les secteurs des transports et de l’énergie. Elle a participé en tant que conseil à de nombreuses procédures arbitrales soumises à divers règlements, parmi lesquels ceux de la CCI, de la LCIA, des Chambres de commerce suisses et de la CNUDCI.

Elle est rédactrice en chef du Construction Law International, le magazine trimestriel de l’International Bar Association’s International Construction Projects Committee. Elle est également membre de plusieurs associations professionnelles, dont la Society of Construction Law et l’Association Suisse de l’Arbitrage (ASA), ASA below 40.

Avant de rejoindre LALIVE, China Irwin a exercé au sein du département d’arbitrage d’une étude d’avocats d’envergure internationale à Genève (2011-2014).

China Irwin est titulaire d’un J.D. (Juris Doctor) de l’University of Virginia School of Law (2010), où elle a participé à un programme conjoint avec l’Institut d’études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) à l’issue duquel elle a également obtenu un Master en droit et globalisation économique. Elle a reçu son B.A. summa cum laude de la Vanderbilt University (2007).
