Melissa Magliana est une associée de LALIVE spécialisée en arbitrage commercial international.

Forte d’une expérience en droit civil et common law, et titulaire de diplômes en droit américain et suisse, elle conseille et représente ses clients dans le cadre de procédures d’arbitrage ad hoc et institutionnelles selon les principales règles de l’arbitrage. Elle agit également en tant qu’arbitre unique, co-arbitre et présidente de tribunaux arbitraux et fournit des conseils sur d’autres formes de règlements et de procédures connexes, telles que la médiation et l’aide judiciaire internationale. Son expertise s’étend à divers secteurs, notamment la construction, l’industrie pharmaceutique et l’industrie minière, avec un intérêt particulier sur les contrats de construction, ainsi que sur les litiges entre actionnaires, partenariats et coentreprises survenant dans un contexte post-fusion et acquisition et les projets de construction.

Melissa Magliana est membre de l’Arbitration Court of the Swiss Arbitration Centre et membre du conseil de l’Association suisse d’arbitrage (ASA), pour laquelle elle est également coprésidente du séminaire de l’ASA sur l’établissement des pratiques. Auparavant, elle a été membre du comité directeur du Young ArbitralWomen Practitioners et ancienne co-présidente du groupe ASA below 40.
