Marc Veit a rejoint LALIVE en 2014. Son principal domaine d’activité est l’arbitrage international et il a participé, en tant que conseil ou arbitre, à de nombreuses procédures d’arbitrage international ad hoc (règlement de la CNUDCI) ou sous l’égide d’institutions variées (CCI, Swiss Rules, HKIAC, SIAC, SCC, IATA) et soumises à divers droits de procédure et/ou droits applicables au fond dont les droits suisse, allemand, autrichien, français, anglais, chinois, turc, suédois, singapourien, géorgien, ukrainien, coréen, albanais et  hongkongais.

Marc Veit bénéficie d’une grande expérience en differends internationaux complexes, en particulier les contentieux impliquant plusieurs juridictions. Son expertise couvre plusieurs industries notamment l’énergie (en particulier le gaz), l’exploitation minière, la construction, les télécommunications, les sciences de la vie et la biotechnologie, le secteur bancaire, le trading de matières premières, le secteur maritime, la construction navale et l’agro-alimentaire. Marc Veit représente également les clients de l’Etude devant le Tribunal fédéral suisse dans les recours en annulation de sentences arbitrales. Grâce à son doctorat en économie, Marc Veit est particulièrement efficace et sollicité pour les questions relatives au quantum, et les clients apprécient sa contribution dans ce domaine.

Marc Veit est un membre actif de plusieurs associations, notamment l’Association Suisse de l’Arbitrage (ASA), l’IBA (Arbitration Committee), l’Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA), et l’Institute for Transnational Arbitration (ITA). Il intervient fréquemment dans des conférences internationales sur le règlement des différends internationaux et y prend part également en qualité de modérateur. Il est diplômé de l’Université de Saint-Gall (lic iur 1997, Dr oec 1999) et a été professeur invité à l’Université de Berkeley aux Etats-Unis (Californie). Il a été, pendant plusieurs années, chargé de cours aux Universités de Fribourg et de Saint-Gall.
