Paralegal 100% (m/f)

We are currently looking for a Paralegal to be based in our Geneva office.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate and take responsibility for the organisation of legal submissions, filings and hearings;
• Monitor and communicate deadlines and hearing dates;
• Organise and maintain accurate filing systems for all mandates;
• Organise and coordinate legal and non-legal support, including through effective forward-planning and analysis of requirements;
• Carry out tasks such as legal cite-checking, proofreading, legal research, exhibit preparation and associated tasks, and coordinate such work by interns and trainee lawyers.

Your profile

• University degree in law or equivalent;
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role in a law firm required; experience within the field of international arbitration would be an asset;
• Strong written and oral English imperative; excellent French language skills would be an asset;
• Excellent computer literacy imperative (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint); working knowledge of Exhibit Manager or similar programmes would be an asset;
• Excellent organisational and communication skills;
• Good presence and a “hands-on” attitude;
• Able to work autonomously, as well as being a strong team-player;
• Self-motivated, rigorous and detail-oriented;
• Swiss or European Community citizen or in possession of a valid Swiss work permit.

We are currently looking for a highly committed Swiss-qualified associate to join our arbitration team, based in our Geneva or our Zurich office.

This role requires technical excellence, rigour, motivation and a strong ability to work independently in a multi-jurisdictional environment.

• At least two years of prior experience in international arbitration;
