Bernd Ehle appointed as partner of LALIVE
1 January 2009We have the great pleasure of informing you that Bernd Ehle, associate of the firm since 2003 has been promoted to partner as at 1 January 2009. Mr Ehle’s promotion was reported in Global Arbitration Review Briefing on 20 January 2009: “Ehle, 37, practises international commercial arbitration, with a focus on disputes relating to mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures between businesses in the telecommunications, construction and engineering sectors. He says he hopes to ‘contribute to Lalive’s leading position in international dispute resolution, in particular by focusing on the German and East European markets’. Michael E Schneider, a partner at Lalive, says: ‘I have known Bernd since he joined us for part of his legal traineeship. When he later returned to Lalive he soon became one of the stars of our arbitration team, valued for his reliability, good judgment and organisational skills.
