Domitille Baizeau appointed as Vice-President of the Arbitration Court of the Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution (March 2013)

In March 2013, LALIVE international arbitration partner Domitille Baizeau was appointed Vice-President of the Arbitration Court of the Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution.  The Arbitration Court administers the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration which came into force in 2004 and were revised in June 2012.  They are applied by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Basel, Berne, Geneva, Lausanne, Lugano, Neuchâtel and Zurich. (For more information see the site of the Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution).  Domitille Baizeau has been a member of the Court (then known as the “Arbitration Committee”) since 2010 and was the first non-Swiss member appointed by the Swiss Chambers.
