LALIVE joins the UN Global Compact Initiative

29 September 2021

LALIVE is pleased to announce the firm has joined the United Nations Global Compact Initiative, a voluntary UN leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices. To mark this, LALIVE is launching a new series on corporate responsibility and its effects on for-profit organisations. The series is aimed at advising companies and other organisations on responsible practices, and will provide monthly contributions on governance, environmental and social developments.

The UN Global Compact is a call to companies to align their operations and strategies with ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action to support the UN goals and issues embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 9,500 companies and 3,000 non-business signatories based in over 160 countries, and over 70 Local Networks.

We are proud to join this project. As a participant in the initiative, we encourage you to visit the Swiss & Liechtenstein Network – UN Global Compact website and learn more about our latest sustainability work here.
