LALIVE organises a seminar on white collar crime and compliance in Zurich (28 May 2013)

On 28 May 2013, LALIVE, together with ACC Europe and Transparency International Switzerland, hosted a seminar at the Zunfthaus zur Zimmerleuten in Zurich on “Legal and Compliance Functions: Effective Guardians of a Company’s Reputation?” which was attended by nearly 100 people. Following a welcome address and an introduction by the organisers, including Alexander Troller, Dr Simone Nadelhofer and Dr Daniel L. Bühr from LALIVE, a debate took place with four distinguished guests: Mr Stephan Bachmann, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Banque Cantonale Vaudoise and Member of the Board of Nationale Suisse; Mr James Bellerjeau, General Counsel and Secretary at Mettler Toledo International Inc.; Dr Laurent Sigismondi, Head Corporate Law at Novartis International AG; and Mr Jean François Tanda, Editor at Handelszeitung. A cocktail reception closed the seminar.
