24 November 2016

The partners at LALIVE are pleased to announce the promotion of Sandrine Giroud to the partnership, as of 1 January 2017.

Sandrine Giroud joined the firm in 2009 and specialises in domestic and international litigation. She primarily advises and represents companies and individuals before state courts in complex multi-jurisdictional proceedings, in particular in civil and commercial litigation and asset recovery proceedings with a focus on banking, private clients and trust disputes, as well as the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and attachment proceedings. She has particular expertise in art law, with a special focus on dispute resolution and transactional matters.

Sandrine is very active in the Swiss and international legal circuit, as Officer of the International Bar Association (IBA) Litigation Committee, President of the Human Rights committee of the Geneva Bar Association (ODA), Director of the Art Law Foundation and a Member of the Foundation Council of the Swiss National Museum, thus widely instrumental in promoting the firm’s Litigation and Art law practices.

In 2015, Sandrine was selected among the Top 100 Women in Investigations and in 2016 by Who’s Who Legal: Commercial Litigation.

The firm wishes Sandrine Giroud every success in her new role.
