LALIVE’s ongoing involvement in the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) strengthened by two new Board appointments
8 October 2013At the General Meeting held in Bern on 4 October 2013, the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) elected Domitille Baizeau, LALIVE international arbitration partner as a new member of its Board. ASA’s outgoing President, LALIVE international arbitration partner Michael E. Schneider, was also re-elected on the Board.
Ms Baizeau and Mr Schneider’s election follow LALIVE’s long tradition of active involvement in ASA. Ms Baizeau was presented for election after several years of involvement in ASA, first as a co-chair of ASA Below 40 (2007-2010) and as a member of ASA’s marketing committee (since 2011). Michael E. Schneider has been a member of the Board for many years and its President for the last four years, period during which he contributed greatly to the modernisation of the association. The election of the ASA Board was reported in the Global Arbitration Review Briefing on 7 October 2013 and commented upon by several leading arbitration practitioners. (Read more)
