Legal 500: LALIVE remains the leading arbitration firm for Switzerland

In 2020, LALIVE continues to be recognized by The Legal 500 for its stellar practice in international commercial arbitration and investment treaty arbitration. The firm is ranked in Tier 1 for Switzerland, with no less than nine partners recommended in the latest edition: Michael E. Schneider, Matthias Scherer, Veijo Heiskanen (all three ranked as “Leading Individuals”), Domitille Baizeau, Bernd Ehle, Noradèle Radjai and newly ranked Joachim Knoll together with London-based partners Marc Veit and Timothy Foden.

The excellent work of counsel Sam Moss is also acknowledged in Construction and Real Estate for the first time in this edition. Sam Moss is an international arbitration lawyer focusing on construction and infrastructure projects. He is the founder and co-chair of YConstruction, an international group for young construction arbitration practitioners, and serves as an officer of the International Bar Association’s International Construction Projects Committee.

The firm’s arbitration team currently comprises 48 full-time arbitration practitioners, including 13 partners and 35 counsel and associates from over a dozen jurisdictions, who together handle a portfolio of cases in excess of USD 20 billion.
