Melina Llodra appointed member of Executive Committee of Association of International Business Lawyers (AIBL)

At the last Annual General Meeting of members of the Association of International Business Lawyers (AIBL), LALIVE Counsel Melina Llodra was appointed a member of the Executive Committee of the (AIBL). The appointment is effective from 1 January 2014 for a period of one year.

The AIBL was founded in 1974 as a forum for the exchange of ideas between in-house lawyers working with banks and multinational companies based in Geneva. At present, the AIBL has over 150 members representing all sectors of the legal community in the region around Lake Geneva, including corporate counsel, private practitioners and lawyers working with international organizations and NGOs. It organizes several engaging networking events, including luncheons with speakers, professional activities and a variety of social events in Geneva. The AIBL also works closely with the Association of Corporate Counsel Europe (ACC) and the Association genevoise de droits des affaires (Agda), associations with which LALIVE is also actively involved.
