Next ASA Arbitration Practice Seminar co-organised by LALIVE arbitration partners to be held in Badenweiler on 18-20 January 2013
1 January 2013The next ASA Arbitration Practice Seminar (formerly known as the “Practice Building Seminar”) co-organised by ASA (including Michael E. Schneider and Domitille Baizeau of LALIVE, and Sébastien Besson of Python & Peter), and the DIS will take place in Badenweiler on 18-20 January 2013. This annual seminar is well known in the arbitration community; it follows a format developed in 1997 by ASA, and very successfully applied every year since, in cooperation with other arbitration associations and institutions around Europe, including every two years in Badenweiler with DIS.
The Seminar is designed for those who wish to continue building on their international arbitration knowledge and practice and to benefit from the discussion leaders’ combined experience and expertise, acquired in a great variety of arbitrations proceedings in different jurisdictions. Participants contribute to the debate with their own experience, questions and ideas. All the sessions are led jointly by two experienced international arbitration practitioners, one with a common law background and the other with a civil law background, thus bringing to bear, in a lively debate, the diversity of experiences in international arbitration and encouraging the development of cross-cultural sensitivity.
