André Santen joined LALIVE in 2022 as an associate. He specializes in complex domestic and cross-border proceedings (litigation and arbitration). His practice mainly focuses on commercial, corporate and banking disputes. It also includes asset protection and recovery, white collar crime and compliance.

Prior to joining LALIVE, André Santen worked as a junior associate with Bär & Karrer (2019-2020) and legal advisor with MME (2021) and Rothorn Legal (2022).

André Santen holds a Bachelor (BLaw, 2017) and a Master of Law (MLaw, 2019, magna cum laude) from the University of Zurich. He also studied at the University of Münster as part of an exchange program.

During his studies, he was selected as a representative of the University of Zurich for the 23^rd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court in Vienna and Hong Kong and since acts as an arbitrator.

André Santen is also an active member of several legal associations and institutions and board member of the Zurich Moot Alumni Association (ZMAA).

André Santen was admitted to the Swiss bar in the Canton of Zurich in 2022.
