Emmanuel O. Igbokwe joined LALIVE in 2019 as a trainee.

Before joining the firm, Emmanuel O. Igbokwe worked as a research associate at Homburger in Zurich (2015-2019). He was a teaching and research assistant at the Institute for Economic Law and the Institute of Private Law, both at the University of Bern (2012-2015) and worked at the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (2013-2014).

Emmanuel O. Igbokwe holds a Bachelor of Law (2010) and a Master of Law (magna cum laude) from the University of Bern (2012), during which he spent a semester at the University of Zurich. He also holds an LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement from the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (2019). He is currently finalising his PhD in International Commercial Arbitration at the University of Zurich. During his doctorate studies, he was a visiting scholar (2017-2018) at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law, University of Cambridge, England.
