Hélène Taberlet specialises in international commercial and investment arbitration with a particular focus in the energy sector. She has acted as counsel in a number of arbitrations under the ICC, ICSID and LCIA Rules.

Before joining LALIVE, Hélène Taberlet was Senior Legal Counsel at a Geneva-based international energy company, where she managed and oversaw pre-contentious matters and disputes and provided legal support for all oil and gas trading activities.  Prior to that, she worked as an associate in international arbitration for Orrick in Geneva as well as Herbert Smith Freehills in Paris, having undertaken her training contract at Herbert Smith Freehills in London. Hélène is also a member of Arbitral Women.

Hélène Taberlet graduated from the London School of Economics (LSE) in 2011 with an LLB in Laws and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from BPP University College (2012).
