She specialises in international business law, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, cross-border transactions involving Qatar with LALIVE IN QATAR LLC, international projects, government licensing and concessions and public procurement. She also assists clients in complex cross-border legal and compliance projects, principally focusing on investigations and best practice risk and compliance management.

She is also a guest lecturer at the Fribourg University School of Law, Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Cross-Cultural Business Practice in relation to International Joint Ventures and International Agency and Distributorship Agreements.

Prior to joining LALIVE, Melina Llodra was a partner in Argentina at Llodra-Trivisonno (2006-2008). She also worked as an external consultant in contracts and consumer law at the Ombudsman office in Argentina (2005-2007) and as an associate at Schujman-Althaus (1999-2003). She has participated in working sessions of the UNCTAD/WTO International Trade Centre (ITC) Pro-Bono Committee on International Commercial Model Contracts for Small and Medium Enterprises.

Melina Llodra holds an LL.M from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign, USA (2004-2005) and a law degree from the National University of Rosario, Argentina (1995-2000). She trained at the Argentinean District Court on civil and commercial matters (1998-1999) and also studied in Spain at the University Carlos III in 2003.
