Philippe Hovaguimian joined LALIVE in 2019 and specialises in international commercial and investment arbitration. He has represented parties in both Swiss and foreign-seated arbitral proceedings as well as in setting-aside proceedings before the Swiss Federal Supreme Court.

Prior to joining LALIVE, Philippe Hovaguimian trained with Baker McKenzie in Zurich and completed an internship in the international arbitration group of WilmerHale in London.

Philippe Hovaguimian graduated summa cum laude from the University of Zurich and holds an LL.M. from King’s College London, where he was awarded the Dickson Poon School of Law Prize. His LL.M. dissertation on issues of cross-border enforcement in arbitral matters earned both the Ondrej Petr Creative Writing Prize and the CMS Prize in International Arbitration.
