Vincent Reynaud joined LALIVE in 2018. He specializes in international commercial and investment arbitration. Vincent’s practice focuses on the construction, energy, and defense sectors, as well as intellectual property and technology disputes. He has represented clients in disputes under all major rules of arbitration and governed by various substantive laws. Vincent also frequently advises international and intergovernmental organizations on governance and institutional matters as well as on their privileges and immunities. In addition to his counsel work, he regularly acts as administrative secretary to arbitral tribunals.
Vincent is secretary of the Executive Committee of the Columbia University Alumni in International Arbitration association and vice-president of the Geneva chapter of the Columbia Alumni Association of Switzerland. He is a member of several professional associations including ASA below 40, CFA 40, and Arbitration Ireland.
Vincent was previously an intern at LALIVE (2016-2017). Prior to joining the firm, he trained with two leading firms in arbitration in Paris. He earlier worked at the Permanent Representation of Ireland to UNESCO and the OECD (2013) and the Embassy of Ireland in France (2011-2012).
Vincent is trained in both common law and civil law. He holds an LL.B. in Law and Political Science with honours from Trinity College, Dublin (2013), a Master in Economic Law from Sciences Po Paris (2016), and an LL.M. from Columbia Law School (2018) where he was named a James Kent scholar and was a research assistant to Professor George Bermann. He also studied at The Hague Academy of International Law (public international law session).
