Prof. Jean-Paul Vulliéty appointed as member of the ICC working group on ethics in commercial contracts

In June 2011, Prof. Jean-Paul Vulliéty was appointed as member of the ICC working group on ethics in commercial contracts. The group is part of the ICC Commission on Commercial Law and Practice (CLP), of which Prof. Vulliéty has been a member since November 2007. The CLP Commission develops ICC model contracts and ICC model clauses in various fields of commercial law in order to provide parties with an efficient and neutral framework for their contractual relationship. Currently, a group of experts from the CLP Commission, including Prof. Vulliéty, is updating the ICC Model of the International Sales Contract which should be finalised and launched in 2012. Prof. Vulliéty is also the vice-chair of the International Sales Commission of the UIA (Union Internationale des Avocats) and was the editor and co-author of the collection of the WTO/ITC commercial model contracts (available online – click here), including for distributorship, sales, joint-ventures, and manufacture agreements. This makes him one of the firm’s experts in international commercial contracts.
