LALIVE promotes Jaime Gallego to Counsel

LALIVE is pleased to announce the promotion of Jaime Gallego to Counsel of the firm, as of 1 January 2017.

Jaime Gallego joined the firm in 2009 after several years of practice in London and Paris. He specialises in international commercial and investment arbitration with a focus on complex disputes arising out of investment projects in the energy (including oil & gas), arms, mining and telecommunications sectors.

Jaime Gallego is dual-qualified as an English Solicitor and a Spanish Abogado. He holds an LL.M. in International Dispute Resolution (with honours), University College London as well as a Degree in Law and a Master in Tax Law, both from ESADE, in Spain.

Jaime Gallego has been key to the development of the firm’s Latin American practice and has become a recognised practitioner in this region. He is also an active member of the Club Español del Arbitraje as the Vice-President of the Swiss Chapter and is a member of the executive committee of the Foreign Lawyers Association (SABE) of the Geneva Bar.
