Nicolas Ollivier promoted to Counsel

LALIVE is pleased to announce the promotion of Nicolas Ollivier to Counsel of the firm, as of 1 January 2016.

Nicolas Ollivier graduated from the University of Fribourg with a Master of Law, majoring European Law (2004) and holds an LL.M from the University of Durham (with Distinction) (2010). Qualified as a Swiss attorney, he joined LALIVE in 2012 with already several years of experience in practice. He specialises in banking and finance, advising and representing clients in complex cases involving e.g. bank bankruptcies, mismanagement of assets, margin calls disputes, fraudulent transfer orders, freezing of accounts, distribution of investment funds as well as in relation to administrative and enforcement proceedings before the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority. He has contributed greatly to the steady and continued growth of the firm’s practice in banking and finance.
