Adrien Canivet joined LALIVE in 2021. He is dual-qualified as a solicitor of England & Wales and as an avocat at the Paris Bar, and is fluent in English, French and Spanish. His main area of practice is international arbitration, including commercial and investment treaty arbitration. He has acted as counsel in disputes relating to banking, energy, construction, telecoms, defence and mining.
Before joining LALIVE, Adrien Canivet practiced international arbitration at Linklaters in London (2013-2021) and Hogan Lovells in Paris (2011-2012). Adrien Canivet holds a Magister Juris (MJur) from the University of Oxford (2007) and a Masters from University Panthéon-Assas, Paris II (2008).
Adrien Canivet is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He also teaches English contract and tort law at University Paris-Dauphine, London branch.
