Guillermina Huber joined LALIVE as an international trainee and was promoted to associate in 2021. Her main areas of practice are public international law and international arbitration, with particular focus in commercial and investment treaty arbitration across the energy, construction, banking and mining sectors in the Latin-American, African and Middle East regions. She has experience in international disputes conducted under the major arbitral institutional rules, including ICSID, ICC and UNCITRAL, as well as ad hoc proceedings (UNCITRAL).
She is a member of several professional associations, including the Young International Arbitration Group (London Court of International Arbitration), the Young ICCA (International Council for Commercial Arbitration), the YSIAC (Singapore International Arbitration Centre) and LATAP EU (Latin American Arbitration Practitioners).
Before joining LALIVE, Guillermina worked with the international arbitration team at White & Case and interned at Three Crowns, both in London. She holds a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires with a specialization in international law and completed an LLM in Transnational Arbitration & Dispute Settlement at Sciences Po Paris. During her undergraduate studies her team was a finalist and won best memorial in the 2013 edition of the Concours d’Arbitrage International de Paris. She was also an exchange student at the University of Paris X – Nanterre (2014).
