Krystal Lee joined LALIVE as an associate in 2021. Her main area of practice is international commercial and investment arbitration, as well as litigation proceedings in common law jurisdictions, involving a variety of jurisdictions and sectors. She has worked as counsel in arbitration proceedings under most of the major arbitral institutional rules and also has experience working as tribunal secretary in LCIA arbitration proceedings.
Before joining LALIVE, Krystal trained with Stephenson Harwood LLP in London (2016-2018), which included seats in the firm’s disputes groups in Hong Kong and Seoul and worked as an associate in its Singapore (2018-2019) and London offices (2019-2021). She has also completed internships at Kim & Chang in Seoul (2015) and Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP (2014).
Krystal is trained in both common law and civil law. She holds an undergraduate degree and a Master in Economic Law from Sciences Po Paris and completed the Graduate LLB (First Class Honours) and LPC (Distinction) at BPP University in London (2016). In addition, she studied at The Hague Academy of International Law (public international law session). She is also accredited as a Solicitor-Advocate (Civil Proceedings) since 2020 and has passed the French L’article 100 exam in 2021, pending admission to the Paris Bar.
