Nina Melzer joined LALIVE in 2021. She specialises in international commercial arbitration with a focus on complex supply-chain and post-M&A disputes. She advises clients in the pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, aerospace and defence sectors. She has acted as counsel in numerous international arbitration proceedings under the rules of various institutions (including ICC, DIS, DIA).
Nina Melzer is a member of the initiative for young arbitrators of the German Arbitration Institution (DIS40), ICC’s Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF), LCIA’s Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG) and Arbitral Women.
Before joining LALIVE, Nina Melzer worked as a senior associate in the international arbitration team of Hogan Lovells in Munich, Germany (2017-2021).
Nina Melzer studied law at the University of Cologne, the University College London and the University of Sydney. She passed her first and second state examinations in Cologne in 2014, 2016 respectively.
