Sébastien Zulian joined LALIVE in 2017. His practice focuses mainly on domestic and cross border litigation and advice in commercial law and private client matters.
Prior to joining LALIVE, Sébastien Zulian trained and worked as an associate in Lenz & Staehelin’s Corporate and M&A department. During his studies, he was a research assistant at the University of Geneva focusing on inheritance law and patrimonial family law. He also completed several internships with recognised law firms in Geneva.
Sébastien Zulian is a board member of the Young Bar of the Geneva Bar Association (OdA below 40). He serves as the latter’s representative in the OdA’s Commission on Alternative Dispute Resolution and the Commission on Innovation and Bar Modernization. He is also member of the Fédération suisse des avocats and other professional associations.
Sébastien Zulian holds an LL.M. degree from Columbia Law School (2017), a Bilingual Master’s degree in Economic Law from the Universities of Basel and Geneva (2014), a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Legal Professions (2014) and a Certificate in Transnational law (2013) from the University of Geneva. He also spent a year studying at the University of Zurich and participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (2012-2013).
