Thomas Brown joined LALIVE in 2020 as its Chief Executive Officer.

Thomas brings significant law firm management expertise and leadership experience to LALIVE, having performed several management roles during a 30 year career with Allen & Overy. He served as Managing Partner of the Tokyo and Hong Kong offices in the last 15 years of his career and, in the last eight years, he managed Allen & Overy’s entire Asia Pacific practice, playing a key role in driving the firm’s growth in the region. In addition to these management roles, Thomas practised as a projects and finance lawyer. In 2015, he became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), following which he spent a year with LALIVE, working in the firm’s international arbitration practice.

Thomas holds a BA in Law from Cambridge University (1986). He was admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales in 1989 and as a solicitor of Hong Kong in 1996.
