Sandrine Giroud

Sandrine specialises in domestic and international litigation, with a focus on complex commercial and financial disputes, private client matters, fraud and asset recovery, white collar crime, mutual legal assistance in civil and criminal matters and international sanctions.

Sandrine routinely acts for companies and individuals in safeguarding their interests and recovering their assets through freezing orders, protective briefs or the enforcement of foreign judgements and awards. She is particularly sought after for high-stakes and sensitive matters involving reputational risk and media exposure.

In addition, Sandrine has strong expertise in public international law, notably in matters involving immunity issues, as well as in business and human rights and ESG matters. She regularly advises international organisations and companies on these issues.

Her practice also encompasses art and cultural property law. She acts as trusted counsel to collectors, art market professionals and museums on both contentious and transactional matters, including sale and loan agreements, museum lending arrangements, authenticity disputes, fraud, and restitution claims.

Sandrine is the immediate past President of the Geneva Bar Association (ODA). She holds a number of leadership roles reflecting her commitment to governance and institutional dialogue.
