Thomas Widmer appointed to the board of AIPPI Switzerland

LALIVE Counsel Thomas Widmer has been appointed to the Board of AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle) Switzerland, the world’s leading international organisation dedicated to the development, improvement and protection of intellectual property. AIPPI aims to work for the development, expansion and improvement of international and regional treaties and agreements as well as of national laws relating to intellectual property.

As an intellectual property specialist, Thomas Widmer has been an active member of this organisation for a number of years and was appointed as a member of the AIPPI Copyright Standing Committee in 2014.
