LALIVE achieves excellent rankings in Chambers Europe and Legal 500

Further to the recent publication of the Chambers Europe 2015 and Legal 500 guides, we are delighted to report on the firm’s results and the recognition afforded to its main practice areas.

Chambers Europe

LALIVE continues to enjoy its leading position in Dispute Resolution (Arbitration – Band 1 and Litigation – Band 3), with 10 lawyers ranked, as well as in White-Collar Crime (Band 1), with Marc Henzelin similarly ranked in Band 1.

The firm’s Corporate and Commercial practice enters the rankings for the first time, highlighting Georges Racine as a leading lawyer. The firm’s Intellectual Property and Employment and practices maintained their position from last year (Recognised Practitioner), ranking IP Counsel Thomas Widmer and recognising employment specialist Nathalie Subilia for the first time. The firm’s expertise in Private Clients and Life Sciences are also listed for the first time (Recognised Practitioner).

Legal 500

LALIVE continued to be ranked highly in Dispute Resolution, continuing to be in Tier 1 for Arbitration and ranked in Tier 2 for Litigation.

The firm’s expertise in Banking and Finance, TMT, M&A, Intellectual Property and Real Estate was also recognised, with the Private Clients practice being ranked for the first time.

In the section analysing the leading firms in Switzerland, Legal 500 includes LALIVE among the top 8 firms in Geneva. The firm’s Zurich office is ranked for the first time among the top 20 firms in Zurich. Furthermore, LALIVE IN QATAR is ranked among the top 15 foreign firms in Qatar.
