LALIVE again ranked among the top firms in international arbitration worldwide (CHAMBERS & GAR)
LALIVE has again been ranked in the top 25 worldwide by Chambers Global 2010 in international arbitration. It is one of only two continental European firms and the only Swiss firm in the rankings. The firm has also been ranked in the top twelve in Europe (Band 3) in international arbitration; in the top three (Band 1) for dispute resolution – arbitration and top twelve (Band 3) for dispute resolution – litigation among firms based in Switzerland. Five of the firm’s arbitration partners are ranked as Arbitration Counsel and/or Arbitrators, in Band 1, 2 and 3.
Meanwhile, LALIVE has also been ranked in 2010 in the top ten among the thirty most prestigious specialist arbitration firms worldwide identified by Global Arbitration Review. Specifically the firm was ranked 8th and 10th in two surveys relating to the 30 world leading firms, GAR Thirty and GAR 30. The GAR Thirty ranking is based on considerations of quality, including the overall reputation of the firm and the reputation of individual lawyers, while the GAR 30 ranking focuses on quantitative criteria such as the number and value of cases handled by the firm, as well as the number of witnesses hearings in the previous 24 months.
LALIVE has been ranked by Chambers Global as the leading continental European firm in international arbitration since 2006 and by Global Arbitration Review ever since the first GAR rankings were established (2007).
