Bernd Ehle joins the SCAI Arbitration Court as of 1 June 2020

LALIVE partner Bernd Ehle has been appointed as member of the Arbitration Court of the Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution (SCAI), which administers arbitrations under the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration.

Bernd Ehle, who is based in Geneva, is one of the three new member of the SCAI Arbitration Court and his appointment will start on 1 June 2020 for a three-year term. He joins Zurich-based partner Melissa Magliana, who was appointed on the Court earlier this year.

LALIVE partners have had a long involvement in SCAI with Domitille Baizeau serving as Court member for ten years, including as Vice-President in her last term, and Matthias Scherer before her. Partner Noradèle Radjai is currently in the SCAI Marketing Committee.

Bernd Ehle is a leading arbitration practitioner, who has acted as counsel and arbitrator in more than 80 international arbitral proceedings brought under many of the major arbitration rules, and whose practice is consistently recognised in the leading directories. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
