Sandrine Giroud appointed as member of the Human Rights Commission of the Geneva Bar Association

Sandrine Giroud has been appointed as member of the Human Rights Commission of the Geneva Bar Association as of 2011. The Geneva Bar Association is the professional association of reference for lawyers in the Canton of Geneva, with nearly 1’300 members (see the website of the ODA). The Geneva Bar Association is active in many fields including in the drafting of new statutes, the safeguarding of human rights, the defence and respect of fundamental liberties, the exercise of the rights of individuals in general as well as the professional training of its members. The Human Rights Commission is active both in Switzerland and abroad through diverse interventions such as press releases, judicial observatory missions, written or oral interventions, in particular before official authorities.
