Noradèle Radjai and Melissa Magliana are elected to the Board of ASA

The Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) has elected LALIVE partners Noradèle Radjai and Melissa Magliana to its board for a three-year term from 1 January 2020.  ASA’s Board is composed of 25 leading international arbitration practitioners from Switzerland and other jurisdictions.

Noradèle Radjai and Melissa Magliana are both active members of the arbitration community. Noradèle Radjai is past co-chair of ASA below 40, an Officer of the IBA Arbitration Committee, a member of the Pledge Steering Committee and of the CPR European Advisory Board. Melissa Magliana is a member of the ASA Marketing Committee, former co-chair of ASA below 40 and a former member of the steering committee of Young ArbitralWomen Practitioners.

As an active proponent of Swiss arbitration, LALIVE has a long tradition of involvement with ASA. Both the late Professor Pierre Lalive and Michael E. Schneider acted as Presidents of ASA and Honorary Presidents thereafter. Professor Lalive also founded the ASA Bulletin in 1983, which has been edited by Matthias Scherer for over twenty years. Domitille Baizeau has been on the ASA Board since 2014, including on the Executive Committee, and a co-chair of ASA below 40 with Marc Veit from 2005 to 2009, a position now held by Catherine Anne Kunz, who is also a member of the editorial board of the Bulletin, while Bernd Ehle is the immediate past co-chair of the Geneva ASA local group.
